  4. Hi everyone. We'll it looks like its a sycamore after all. Around 20inch diameter trunk and between 30 to 40ft. So didn't strike me as mature as the ones behind but I could be wrong. Everything looked fine. Just was still unsure about all the scale as I can't say I've seen this amount throughout the entire tree before. I can only assume that it is a genetic characteristic as arborowen said as it looked healthy. More thoughts on the scale welcome. Cheers guys

  7. A customer emailed me these pics of what they said was their back garden sycamore today. They said that it didnt look the same as the others at the back of it, as they were alot smoother on the limbs. This has scale over the entire tree. What are everyones thoughts on it before i get back to them. Cheers

Its ash and majority sycamore in 2 to 3ft lengths from approx 8" to 20" diameter. i can load it and sell it by the truck load which is an iveco daily 3.5ton tipper or if you can load yourself that will be great. PM if you want details Many Thanks Darran

  17. I will be getting paid by the customer that contacted me to remove it from his garage. That bit is fine. I just wanted to help him a little that was all and offer him as much advice as i could. Many Thanks for the sppedy replies everyone
  18. Hi everyone i need a little advice for a customer. The situation is... failed lombardy from neighbouring property to the rear of customer. Tree has snapped at base and landed on detached garage. No one around at property where tree is located then told possibly on holiday. We now have a poplar resting on the garage and we are instructed to remove it to make it safe. Customer now informs me that neighbour is not prepared to pay for the work done to make safe their dangerous tree that has damaged his garage and neighbour says it is an act of god. Where does he stand legally. I thought that the neighbour would be responsible for the tree and would foot the bill as it is on their property and fell into a neighbouring property causing damage. Any info would be great.
  19. Can anyone recommend a company to do the conversion in my area west yorkshire. Many thanks for the info once again
  20. Ha Ye sorry sent off the phone. Thanks for the input everyone as it is not a 3500 and the 3050 it does seem a bit pointless if you can't carry hardly anything. I think I will probably save my finances and see how much longer the iveco lasts before the back drops to bits and then maybe have a better back built.
  21. I have a 55plate 110 which i am considering converting to a tipper. In peoples experience is it worth it. The truck is immaculate as its been used as a run around to visit sites so wwould make a good coversion candidate and I would use it lots more if it were a tipper. Will I just be wasting my time and money? All your input will be appreciated Cheers
  22. Got the courses sorted thanks for all the input its most appreciated
  23. Many thanks for the info everyone. Looks like I'm going to sub it out and stay legal.
  24. Hi everyone is it ok for me to do climbing jobs under the supervision of a collegue who has cs 30 31 38 39. The situation is that we have some work lined up commercially and we need another climber. The next 38 39 course is in december we need to complete the work in November. If i climb then that would mean i have a man on site for a rescue is this correct or very nieve. Many thanks for any info
