  1. I've never had a correct order delivered from these guys, and if you leave a negative or neutral feedback on ebay they block you from buying off them again! I use L&S, they are fantastic and never had a problem !
  2. Vec are India made and I rate them highly, fit and finish is excellent, I have rebuilt a number of saws with them, with no issues!
  3. Best way to prevent theft is to spray the complete saw in a garish colour rendering it unsaleable, as ghastly as this sounds, it works!
  4. ......Oh, your tank breathers need replacing, a common fault on this model too!
  5. Try changing the air filters for new, this model chokes up when air filters get clogged, I have had a few in with the problems you describe and nine times out of ten it's the air filter, no amount of blowing out with an air line will clean the flocked material. I have a rule of thumb, that if you hold the filter up to a bright light and you don't get any light coming through, it needs replacing! Hope this helps, Regards, Toby
  6. Crankshafts were not properly case hardened, once the bearing ran dry of grease, the heat build up destroyed the very thin case hardening, resulting in the chewed up crankshaft. Stihl trying to save money and cutting corners again! I have replaced a few now, in fact I am doing one at the moment!
