  1. Its an undercover stealth mission, behind enemy lines, get in and out quick.
  2. Cheers Al, Its oak and then scots pine. I've got a few loads to get rid of over the weekend and then on Monday, I can take it back to mine but would be handy to dump local to the job. Thanks for your help mate.
  3. Thanks HTH, that's really helpful. Cheers Rich.
  4. Thanks Swampster, is that W Godfrey & Sons nursery, that's all a google search seems to come up with? Cheers. Rich
  5. Hello all, Does anyone know of a tip site in or near Camberley for this weekend? Thanks, Rich
  6. They're still available if anyone wants them. I estimate there's enough to fill a 20ft skip with room to get one up to the pile or a grab lorry. Stuff at the back has been there for four years and a year at the front. I need to move yard so need it shifted. Thanks
  7. Hello all, My log pile is available to whoever can shift it, need it all gone. Its a mixture of hardwood and conifer located in Cobham, Surrey. Thanks, Richard
  8. Hello all, Need my woodpile shifted. Probably 40% conifer all cut into rings, I guess a 20ft skip should handle it.I need it all gone. Located in Cobham, Surrey just off jct 10 M25/ A3. Send me a PM. Cheers, Richard
  9. Hang on, what about the cylinder? Do you have to get it from the USA? Is there a supplier in the UK?
  10. Hey thanks for that. I couldn't seem to find that myself.
  11. Hello all, How do I go about getting a new Meteor piston/cylinder kit for a 066. These are regarded as the best after market cylinders are they not? Thanks advance. Rich
  12. Yes the LPG cylinder was off and lying in the hedge!? You must ask why. It looked in good nick though. The lady mentioned it was worth £200 for scrap, but reckon she may just be happy to see it go, she seemed to be a bit fed up with her son who owns it and dumped it there. I'm going to leave it, got enough on my plate as it is! If any one else fancies it I can give her a call, shame to see things rot away, even if it is a load of junk.
  13. Thanks guys, You've made my mind up for me, was thinking there must be a reason for it being left there in the first place. Thought the tipping body looked in good nick though. Can't be arsed to mess around with it, sort of thing that will be left rotting away in my yard for the next 10 years.
  14. Think I've done it! Got to be worth something, I was just looking at the tipper body first, then got thinking about getting the thing going. Think they just want to get rid of it.
  15. I came across this truck in someones back garden. Apparently its sat there from new. its a 05 plate and done 1400 miles, the back seats still have the plastic on them! Seems to be all there and the body work is rust free. Its a tipper and been converted to LPG, cylinder been taken off but lying in the hedge. Has any one had any experience with Yue Jin trucks, looks just like a Canter. Got to be worth doing up, surely.
  16. Hello all, Can any one help me out? Got a few jobs on where I'll need a hand. Located by jnct 10 M25, A3. Send me a PM. Thanks, Richard
  17. I'm talking about the blue stain from horse chestnut caused by aesculin, not sweet chestnut and tannins. I'm aware they are two different species, if that's what you mean.
  18. If its chestnut and green mix some bark and the cambium layer with water, it should have a blue tinge to it. Looks like chestnut to me.
  19. Make sure you have a good sharp silky and secateurs, lime's a dream to cut. Leave your chainsaw on the deck, quieter and easier, and you'll be less inclined to take off too much.
  20. Watch "Closer to the Edge", great documentary about the Isle of Man TT. Guy Martin is a really interesting character, completely bonkers and very smart.
  21. Hello all, As the title says, need a hand next week. Either a climber or a groundie for a couple of days. Send me PM if you can help Cheers, Richard.
