Had a good few saws over the years but I have a real soft spot for my 262xp. Bought it a month before my son was born and he is 25 now. God knows how much I've cut with it but I replaced the piston and pot a couple of years ago and haven't managed to get it to fire since so it's been left in a box in bits since then.

I attended the same type of demo run by FC at Falkland Estate and have to say I was less than impressed. OK they had 4 machines "working " in a forest setting but how you can ever make any of these machines pay in that setting is beyond me. You seem to have had more toys to look at.

Hey people I've been looking for 4 rubber gym mats to put on shed/greenhouse roofs etc when working. Been online looking for them but they are all silly money when you factor in the shipping costs (around £300) :-/.
Just wondering if anyone on here has used this kind of thing instead of boards and if you use them anyone know where to get them from? (on the cheep).
I've phoned round some indoor climbing walls and some gyms but no luck as yet.
Was looking for some 6x4ft 1" thick kind of thing, give or take.
If anyone has any ideas or thoughts it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance people. :-)
Stokbord could be the answer. 2.4 x 1.2m x 6mm about £26 & 9mm about £35 +VAT

Hi everyone, just wondering if any one on here can suggest a good timber yard/fencing supplier in or around the Tunbridge Wells area?
I've got 30m of feather edge to do and need to try to work out if it is easier (cheaper) to cart everything I need from Cardiff, or buy the materials closer to the job. It currently costs me around £20 per metre for 6' feather edge, with 4'' posts with a 6'' gravel board and 3'' x 2'' rails, as well as postcrete and fixings.
Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.
If you are still looking for a supplier try McVeigh Parker at Headcorn,
Tel: 01622 891095. Free Deliveries for orders over £250.

Hello
I'm in a need for a course Lantra stump grinding ticket
kind of Now ??
Any suggestions? been in contact with Barony Campus
and I got the impression one could be sent over to my place
due to I have the machine already.
I was to be honest quite sure a ticket was needed if
competence is high.
But to get this 5 million insurance for my company I need to have
this ticket. So the faster the better.
Now is better..
Thanks
Give QTS a call, just up the road from you. They may have a course running.

40tonne is overkill to say the least unless you have loads of knotty Oak and Elm. As Justin said it will be slow unless you have a big power pack. If you tractors hydraulics are not good you could always buy a power pack to run the splitter you already have.

I claimed all my training expenses when I started, all be it 15 years ago, but no problems.

I have met Jock Bryce many times and always got on well. I don't think this is the place to slag off people who are not able to defend themselves and certainly is not the purpose of this thread.

It would help if I had read all your posts

I never usually win on raffles but more than delighted with this. Well done Steve for organising and to everyone for donating prizes or buying tickets.

Every bit as good as an Ifor, I had one for a few years, great to tow.

The Silky will never die in my opinion.Silent cutting for sensitive areas...uncompromised quality and superior cutting. Cut and hold (my favourite Arb discipline) can not be beaten as far as safety is concerned.....i even came across a bunch of my absolute favourite blades today at Gustharts....Finest SK4 Carbon steel....
I have to agree with your choice of blade, I loved using it.

I don't have a UK number but I can simpathise with your problem as I have had problems with BT and it is always an up hill strugggle to get problems sorted. I am now considering leaving BT and installing satalite broadband.

Blanked off EGR, remover CAT, remap on my 53 plate 130 TD5 all of which improved the performance. It can put a bit of black smoke out if you put the foot down but it has pased two MOTs no problem. I would do it all again if I had another.

The only posts that last in the ground here are a sleeper or telegraph pole. All the supposed guaranteed posts have been changed on numerous occasions while these have thirty plus years on them and still good. UC4 may well be ok, time will tell.
Bob
I have to agree, sleepers and telegraph poles are good but volume supplies are again the problem. Guarantees are problematic and you are better saying "desired service life". We do sell very good creo posts which will last the test of time.

Just remind me bob, who in your area stocks clipex fencing

Possible legal route to deal with unreasonable customer?

Probably not much help in resolving this one but always get the customer to agree the spe to whatever net/wire is required. Believe me I know the pitfalls as I sell fence equipment for a living. Threaten him with the small claims court and have your day in court if necessary. Best of luck.
