Pay point scale goes up one point for each year served. (I think)
-
I don think there was any confusion. I got it straight from the horses mouth.
A mid range Copper (Constable), in London is earning mid £20k's. That includes London waiting.

Do you think I come about here to lie to you?
So, after 7 years, he's going to be on around £40,000 a year. I don't find that too bad for a constable. He may also have the option of promotion, where the wage naturally goes up.
However, I've never lived in London and had to pay London prices.

Sorry Dan, but I Just can't face watching it. It will just make my blood boil even more. Hope you can understand.

Corbyn calls for May's resignation over cuts to the police she made during her tenure as Home Secretary.
And a few hours later, he's changed his mind.
-
So the speaker of the house, the one and only John Bercow, gets re-elected as an MP with no opposition parties opposing him. Surely that can't be right?
-
Hi eggs, of course we wouldn't get that response time where I live. I wouldn't expect anyone there for at least half an hour.
My point was that a response time of 8 minutes is excellent. Would spending more money on the police have got them there any quicker? I doubt it.
Would spending more money have prevented the attack? Well, that's debatable.
-
I will agree with you there Mark. There are bad eggs in both baskets. I'm no fan of HS2 either. Think that money could be better spent elsewhere.

Not an expert, but the first picture is definitely the rectifier/regulator. Same as mine

The police were onsite within 8 minutes. Not bad in my opinion. What does Corbyn want? Police on every street, in every town, 24 hours a day.
Perhaps The shadow home secretary could come up with some figures as to how much this would cost?????

Thanks Steve

From my own perspective, I looked forward every day to reading the new posts on that thread. I, for one am going to miss it.

What about his friendship with Hamas and Hezbollah? Are they the kind of people we want to have open dialogue with as well?
Timon.
A recent poll suggests that 13% of jews intend to vote for Corbyn. Given his track record on anti semitism I'm surprised it's that many.
-
I also watched the whole debate. Same old guff from Corbyn. He swerved and steered most questions back to these pre learnt statements he's comfortable with and that he spews out every time.
TBH I struggle to look at the man, as said before you can see it eating him up from inside having to state that 'the party have decided to back Trident' etc. I'd love to see the results of a polygraph.
The man is a vile creature who will promise whatever he thinks the electorate want to hear.
How those in the labour heartlands of Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham can support such a creature, who was colluding with PIRA terrorists whilst they were bringing death and destruction to those very cities is beyond me!
UK needs to wake up, the man is a treacherous, morally bankrupt fraud who would drag the country back to the 1970's.
Agreed.

Its a direct drive from the winch to the saw. Mines about 7 years old. Do a search for lewis winch outboard drive. I'm sure they all fit regardless of age. There is also a youtube video of how to attach to saw. If your using an inboard clutch such as a 346xp,then you will need the chain drive.
hope that helps.
-
Mine runs on a 372xp with no drive chain.
-
Depends on which clutch you have on your saw. With a inboard clutch, I don't think you need a drive chain. Could be wrong though
-
Have you tried wj green? I bought mine from them.

At last, we all agree on one thing. Stella sends you loopy

Stella = mental juice.
Can't get out of the bedroom door every time I drink the stuff

I'm amazed nobody has picked up on the fact their council tax and business rates could potentially double or treble under the proposed land value tax which could replace council tax/business rates. I would have thought it would have been jumped on on here given it will affect us all as soon as it's introduced ...............
if I'm right, it's only going to be introduced if Labour win the election. So, why worry about it.
-
Corbyn and Abbott. I'd rather have Laurel and Hardy in charge of the country. Thank god they have no chance of being elected.

It seems that The conservatives are happy to nick policies they derided as a step back to marxism in order to steal peoples votes:

It also show's quite clearly that the media cannot be trusted to deliver anything other than their own political agenda.
Quite right, the media always print anything that suits their own political agenda. Reminds me of your Guardian post last night!!!

Thanks.
The funny thing is i've never actually owned a dog, but our house was it's second home. In-fact, i'm sure it sometimes thought it lived here.
