  5. today me and the mrs went for our 8 week scan and realy happy to see a littel heart beating it is the best news we could ever wish for after years of trying our second attempt at ivf has been successfull:thumbup:

  7. i agree mattyf i have had a lad come and work with me before that was in to going down the gym all the time he was all ways tired and couldnt keep up and he ended up leaving because he couldnd do both as he loved the gym so much he got a gardening job .a few good streatches in the morning is a good idea and work harder if you want to get fitter in this job:biggrin:

  10. with woods you will be working are you doing it for the wood as payment you cut or do the land owners pay you to be there and give you the wood as payment if you dont mind me asking i find on my estate most of the thinning jobs that we do are at cost to the estate grants cover some of it but not much when we get the chance to do big stuff or over stood coppice we can cut and extract a amout to make it pay,the main aim is conservation here and to maintain the capital value of the woods ,

  14. thancks again for all your help I wanted it to use with my holder and 5 tone igland winch was told on my winch course that what ishould use when doing of set winching ,i have always just used the chockers to of set stuf in the past ,have a few banks in our woods so should be a handy bit of kit to have

  16. Hi all iam looking to get a snatch block with at least 10-12 ton SWL and some stropes and shackels ,any help and advice on a good place in the south east that would sell these would be great cheers:001_smile:
  17. hi david good luck with your big weekend hopefully you wont have to tow to many people out iam going to cut my hedges and get on top of garden havin my injection for my low white blood count so wont be doing to much as has side affects like flu for a few hours after takin it i getting used to it and have it every 3 weeks probly forever but better than getting ill again:001_smile:

  18. Hi david hows your week going and hows the new grab. i been putting loft insulation in when it was raining and finished beech and been cutting tracks back looking forward to when my grane fixed so can shift some wood got a nice amount built up now

  24. came across this in morning on way into the woods to do some pruning so had change of plan it came down last night i enjoy doing big beech so was fun day when not getting soaked in that heavey rain[attach]

Hi i use fen traps in boxes or tunnels and cage traps both just as efective cages are good as you can see if you got anything from a distance ,use whole maze and penuts,i bait up the boxes with out traps for a week then dig a small pit and cover trap with leaves ,i find it a waist of time trapping at this time of year so i do it in winter i poison from april to august in hoppers ,i would like to try those traps that strap to tree as deer and badgers can be a pain .
