  1. Panic over, the river was very low and it didnt even get over the tracks, which wasn't very exciting! Dunno how I would have explained it to the hire shop if I managed to drown it...
  2. Thanks guys, i'll see how it goes, the rivers quite low at the moment so fingers crossed, cos I dont fancy dragging everything across the river! That is what is descirbed as a ball ache... Tom.

  5. I just sold one for £250 but I reckon I could have got more for it cos I had my hand bitten off and lots of interest after having sold it...oops Two sold on ebay for around the £360 mark so I would hope for in the £300's if I was you. Tom.

  8. Just wondering what license is required for driving a unimog? Is it a full lorry license (7.5t) or can it be classed as agricultural, and so no need for a license? Cheers. Tom.
  9. Anyone got any good tips on how to clean sap off ropes and other kit? I wash mine in a luke warm bath with deteregent which normally gets them clean, but not the sap, its still very sticky, and its driving me mad... the sap usually comes off after a while of using the ropes, but ive been doing a few conifers lately and there getting very sticky, and its a new rope Any advice would be greatly appreciated!   15. Hello all, Ive got my cs41 dismantling and cs40 pruning assesment on friday ad was wondering if any of you who have done it before have got an hints or tips that might help?
