I chucked mine in the washing machine. Sure a dishwasher would work just as well to

The good thing about a zig zag is you can just tie it off on a running bowline then decend on that. Tbh I rarely choke my line only if in a awkward position. Most the time I clip it on back of my harness out the way

Well I've had stuff nicked from yard and site before but knowing someone has been through your home is horrible. Small amount of money and jewellery taken. Located ta21

Use your common sense, I've used/use and seen others use kit in some right states. Stuffs so over engineered just get on and climb

for under 200quid.... or you could get a spanking new ground saw for 500. I know what I'd do!

Brilliant programme, I grew up within horticulture but choose tree work as a career. Been very successful as a climber but after watching this programme I've got the bug to get my brain working again... could see myself as a harvest manager or something

Got one in Bridgwater already that's my closest at the moment and looks like it's where it'll be all going unless I find closer. Just adds time to the job! Cheers anyway

Hi chaps in desperate need of help, have had this job in the pipeline for months but the tipsite have let me down tonight and I need somewhere to get rid of 4/5loads of woodchip tomorrow. Can anyone help?

Working with a good bunch of blokes always makes for a good day no matter how crap the job is. Also when someone says thank you or well done... simple things like that mean a lot to me

Doesn't work for me either. Android on S5 here also...

I'm in Wellington, any more details on vehicle? Fun fair is at rockwell green... there's usually a bit of trouble when there about

Not done it for a while but everyone should still be taught it. As has already been said when your stuck, or don't have your usual kit for some reason it can still get you by. I'm a zig zag man now but will always carry a couple prussic loops in my kit bag

It's been hard getting over my addiction to the hokey cokey, but I've turned myself around and that's what it's all about.

'Tis an old thread, but, I spoke to Pat Ferret on the phone today. He used to come about these parts many moons ago. I asked him why he didn't poke his head in here any more?
He answered with...... The place is full of .....!
Made me laugh!
He's right though!

I bought the 540 when it came out and thought wow, finally a decent grunty saw again. Then it fell apart, so I fixed it and it fell apart again... and again and again etc... you get what I mean. Bought the new 201 and well so far so good, grunty saw and it hasn't broke! Well the av spring on the handle is abit bent but it doesn't affect the everyday use. I'd buy another one.

I used to set my cruise control to 130mph on my passet, only because it wouldn't let me
set it any higher lol oh what a knob I was in my youth.

If a saw starts playing up I usually get mad and chuck it. He's the same
