  1. I've just gone to send a message and you can indeed send it via e mail. Also noticed an SOS message function and a mobile tracker that activates if a new sim card goes into it. It can also stay under a metre of water for upto 30 mins. Dan
  2. I've just got one of these to replace my Orange Tokyo. "Following on from previous models Samsung Solid and Samsung B2700, the Samsung Solid Extreme takes ruggedised features to the next level. Whether in the severe wet or cold, the Samsung Solid Extreme is designed for tough conditions particularly benefiting outdoor workers and those leading an active outdoor life. The IP rating of 57 means the Samsung Solid Extreme has a high immunity to dust and water surviving drops from a height of up to 2m and even full water submersion up to 1m. Sand and dust will no longer clog up consumer's devices, nor will a drop into white water rapids or a toilet bowl prevent it from working" "The Samsung Solid Extreme also has the functionality to suit outdoor conditions and loud surroundings, with a one-touch torchlight, an extremely loud speaker, customisable vibration and caller notification designed for loud surroundings. It features acoustic noise cancellation technology so that conversations can be heard loud and clear over background noise, such as drilling or hammering. Lets see how it fares falling out of a tree and talking with background chipper / chainsaw noise i'll let it you know how im getting on with it. Coming soon - Silky Katanaboy ( on order ) Dan
  3. They say you should never get rid of your 1st car which i haven't. '87 Nissan Micra, pretty much everyone i know has mocked the micra but at least its being honest, its built a damn sight better than some of todays cars. I was running a Honda Accord aswell, till someone drove into it and wrote it off. Im currently on the hunt for a Volvo S40 T5 that isn't a million miles away from me Maybe when i get a new car, the micra will be retired for a while to be breathed on, im feeling an SR20DET will fit the bill perfectly. Dan
  4. Hmm nice one, might order one, depends if jonesie can sort me one out Dan
  5. hmmm now theres an idea.... Some old man thought he was tokyo drifting and came round a bend on my side of the road, my car was a write off. I felt bad having to bring my first car out of retirement If it had of been my first car that got drove into i would of cried my eyes out and no im not scrapping it, the government can go do one. Just like my MS260 its filthy, probably the dirt thats holding it together. Dan
  6. I might be there, i currently have transport issues, awaiting some compo for a new car, I quite fancy a Skoda Octavia Scout Dan
  7. Maybe a quick pic of me will help you remember, im sure everyone will get a chuckle out of it. Was an environment agency job which i was drafted in to help out on, i drew the short straw with having to cut up lengths in the canal so the mini digger could shift them. Haven't properly tried them new oval 'biners yet, I've been running standard ones with the hitch climber hopefully now it'll run a bit smoother. Dan
  8. No we didn't, eye contact yes, you were a bit busy at the time, you would have seen alot of people so if i said i was wearing a white lambretta t shirt, that probably wont help you in anyway, i bought the last two oval 'biners, maybe it was Justin who served me, not sure though, never met any of you before.
  9. aye, more than likely, just like Jade Goody, we won't hear the last of MJ for a while yet
  10. Yes, there are two of him, there is the human version which i saw today and the android version which operates on arbtalk
  11. .....the new silky katanaboy, they wouldn't let me have it though because it's the only one in the country and thus is only a demo model, i did try bartering with them but they wouldn't have it Anyone else feel the AA show was a slight let down compared to last year? I know alot of things have happened since then, i guess this reflects it. I did see one Steve Bullman, he looked bored, maybe he can comment on this Dan
  12. Cheers dude, it's only some red and white electrical tape, it's already bearing marks and tears, i'll paint them proper when i get 5 mins, make it a more of a permanent feature :-P

  13. A Nissan Micra K11 would make an excellent buy. My 1st car was an '87 K10, was only meant to last me for a year, then id get a better car, i did indeed rag it for that year not really giving a monkeys but then i got attached to it, 3 years on and it's still moving. I got a Honda Accord as a nicer weekend car, so wasn't really rushing about with the micra, but then disaster, someone came round a corner on the wrong side and wrote the accord off, I felt bad having to pull the micra out of retirement.
  14. I currently have a Samsung clp 315, only had it a few months but so far im very happy with it. Can't remember how much it cost me but its well within your price range. I bought mine from amazon. the world's smallest colour laser printer CLP-315 - Colour printers - print solutions | SAMSUNG The only downside is that the paper in feed tray sticks out at the bottom. Dan
