Only problem ive found with the natanoko is despite the handle being tight on the blade it feels loose when you wobble it, might just be mine, who knows Dan

It's down to personal preference really, i mean if you get the chance to try before you buy then do that, i agree with the curved zubat with the lack of hinge. Ive got a natanoko, gomtaro, zubat, sugoi, pocket boy and the feared beast aka katanaboy, all have there strengths and weaknesses. I don't think you'd go wrong with an old school gomtaro. Dan

To be honest ive hardly used the big one, i don't take it to work with me, they would have kittens, they'd conjure up some red tape to stop me using it, the times i have used it, it's done the job, alot of folk have said the blade is way to bendy, but when your cutting on the back stroke it doesn't really matter. The thing is we were all climbing, the folk we contract to did an audit on another patch and found that one guy was climbing without 2.3 and 40, word soon spread, my place didn't even know we needed it, so in there usual fashion stopped folk climbing, then we heard different things about what we can / can't do, to this day i still don't know what i can / can't do, lack of communication. Thanks for the input guys, the assessor didn't really give any answers to this, he said i was taught by some "old school" trainer / assessor, since then no-one has picked up on my strop until now, i know alot of the lads at my place, if not all of them, well apart from the newbies, work position and advance on the side d's, could be new information that hasn't been passed on. We had to answer questions on the new G55/2 tree categories even though were not working to that yet, also were not allowed to use rope grabs or snap hooks, listen to me ranting, i'll shut up before i go off topic.
