  1. alrite fella im in the same postion as u.really lik mine but havnt tried the austria 3 but the set up looks very similar to a butterfly. i.e the leg loops finished up outside the leg rather then inside lik the austria 2, plus the bridge looks alot higher unlik the 2 which feels low rite?. bit naughty i think how theyve called it there 3rd wen the set ups alot different.let me know wot u think if u get one tho

  5. yea its a good knot but the only problem is, is that u hav to be called howard to use it otherwise u slip on it and get rope burns on ur hands...espically wen foot locking.
  6. iv got an old office chair that i racket strap myself into...its ok for comfort but i often find it abit restricting when im on spikes.also plenty of room for tools and wot not..
  7. trust me guys u can make one.not talking about a cambium saver with a pully either.i mean replicating an art 1.
  8. made a rope guide for about £30.works exactly the same if not better, because u can wash it.

    Top knots!

    learn you friction hitchs aswell as your static knots.take a look at how they work.the prussic is still used alot where i work proberly more then a blakes or a v.t. so its good to know them all.get the books out really...a good one is "tree climbers companion" that covers everything.
