  1. Due to increased work load we are seeking to employ a full time climber with at least 4 years experience in the industry whom is competent in all aspects of modern arboriculture. all relevant nptc certification and a full UK driving licence are essential, any other relevant qualifications such as first aid or a MEWP ticket would be an advantage. our ideal candidate would be able to manage his own jobs and team on a daily basis.they must be efficient and courteous to clients and other members of staff at all times. thats the bare bones, if your interested feel free to pm me or contact the office direct 01234 381066
  2. got a 1750 with the same problem, set all the controls 'ready to start' when you switch off the night before, especially the hand throttle , it seems to ease the starting on ours.better to be frozen on than off i suppose!

  11. Personally i would go for orange it stands out better in bright sunshine, be careful of your selection of sleeve length most higway work requires full lenth with two reflective bands, great on a summers day!
  12. everyone in our industry should think about donating to their local AA charity, my boss raised over £5k for ours last year. how many times do we find our selves in remote locations?
  13. this is the right thing to do, it does get on your t**s some times when your guys do the three wise monkey trick when things go wrong, missing, broken etc, etc, but you have to lead by example and not over react .Follow guidelines that they are aware of so they know whats coming. and what is expected of them, this way they will respect your actions. if your employees lose respect for you because you blow your top at every problem normal working conditions will start to suffer.
