  1. Salad is my preffered foodstuff these days, but with a Mountain to climb I need something more calorific...BUT FIRST...
  2. Cool....well it is the Style and colour thst I like....didn't notice the Reg.
  3. Breakfast in Keswick then up the Big Hill....just seen my perfect Landy
  4. Got my directions to get to the mountain and the farmer ssid I could take tbisif I wanted....2 wheel drive Army motorbike.
  5. Wonderful night's sleep...the whole barn to myself...24 bunks to choose from! And stepped outside to this.........

  7. The night was drawing near and I needed a place to get some sleep...."sleep here if you like" the Farmer said...the whole place to mysef! Heater...cooker....shower/wc. £8:)
  8. I have a signal:) the colour here is amazing! After a great day I headed off to find somewhereto stay and set the satnav for the England's biggest mountain...as the miles counted down the scenery around me rose higher and became more dramatic until at the last click I arrived atmy destination...the end of the road."Where's Scaffell pike?", I asked an old man. "You have to continue on foot through that valley in the distance" he replied.
  9. Enjoyable climb in wonderful surroundings...this adventure is just beginning....my signal is about to go....surrounded by big rocks...tommorow I will meet Scaffell Pike! Over and Out Arbtalkland.
  10. Not anymore its not!...Fork lightning and heavy rain in Borrowdale! VERY ATMOSPHERIC:cool::cool:

  12. Jon...after a very beautiful warm and sunny day with Team Hodge, I have travelled 30 miles into the wilderness to meet England's biggest mountain...I shall begin that journey in the morning...now it is bucketing down....very heavy downpours and Fork lightning...I LOVE IT!
