  1. Not expecting a great response here after looking through the other posts, but if there's a competent body who can put an eye on my (recently severed) new England tachyon there's money waiting for you. Looks like I'll have to post it down to honey brother's otherwise. I'm based across the water from liverpool on the wirral. Thanks Brett
  2. Worked for a crew called Arbor operations back in 99, was a good firm, made a few dollars too. Was keen on being a proper arb firm when those were a liitle thin on the ground in Aus. Excellent Tree Care Services | Tree Surgeon & Arborist | Arbor Operations
  3. Sorry folks. That was the wrong number. (Fat thumbs!) 07817 596665 This one should do the trick.
  4. Do you climb mate? Have put a post up in the employment section for a mate of mine on the Wirral.
  5. Due to me hanging up my harness and moving into the surveying side of the business, one of my regular employers is now a man down. You'll have to be able to work efficiently and at a reasonable pace, nothing ridiculous, but he hasn't got time to help you improve or learn on the job as it were, so if you aren't happy hanging a 066 off your belt yet, it's probably not for you. He's a good bloke, have worked with him for years now, based on the Wirral so you'll have to be prepared to travel there. Be allsorts from conifer bashing one day to rigging down the next. His names Justin, 07807596665
  6. Glenmorangie | Glenmorangie Lasanta If you like the Superstition ( One of my favourites) try the Lasanta, always treat myself to bottle when I've had a good week, (or it's reduced) Got my 40th coming up in March, so will be dropping hints to family about some Special presents they might like to buy me.
  7. Had Gareth in on a site clearance job last week. Well worth having along, Took some of the pressure off me and made my working day a lot easier. Cheers Gareth, let you know if anything else comes up I can use you for. Brett
  8. Amenity tree care (01829770075) and Treefellers (01829782016) seem to be quite busy mate. Given me plenty of work over the years, could be worth letting yourself be known to them.
  9. I'm always fond of telling them it has Stihl disease. Sometimes i even get a knowing "ah" before they head off to tell their friends in the pub later. Bless.
  10. I come with 3 saws, 020T, 026 and a 395XP husqy, big lowering kit, and 20+ years experience. £120 is a mid range figure to work from, some people pay me more depending on the job, some people pay me less if they guarantee me regular work. I'd not try to be too greedy to start with, there's lot's and lot's more lads out there who can fill your space in the employers eye's, and unless you're, to coin a phrase, "**** hot" you won't be able to command top dollar unfortunately. Good luck with it, but competition is only getting stronger mate. Add as many strings to your bow as you can.
  11. Great isn't it. The big blokes all papping it, and the ladies and old lass just getting on with it. Bless em
