  1. Count me in, I've got a Defender 90 TD5.
  2. By tradition the bridegroom's speech follows the father of the bride's speech. Thank the parents of the bride for a lovely wedding and reception; and how honoured or happy you feel joining their family. Offer sincere appreciation to other family members, friends, photographer, your vicar and your bride on this wonderful occasion Give thanks to your parents for their lifelong support. Add siblings or close friends in attendance. Tell your bride how lovely she looks and how much the day means to you. Let your best man know how you value his friendship and thank him for taking part in the memorable occasion. Present a toast to the bridesmaids for their good health and happiness then turn to the next presenter, usually the best man, for his speech or toast.
  3. A bit more poke in this one! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDWqJe1dCgY[/ame]
  4. A crisis erupted in the middle east when Dubai TV refused to broadcast The Flintstones, A spokesperson said that the people of Dubai don't understand the humour, but those in Abu Dhabi Doo
  5. Just outside Maidstone Mick.
  6. Thanks Mick, she was born right next door to you. She is a Bilboen from Chatham. Here are her relatives:- http://bilboenbullterriers.co.uk/
  7. Following on from MasterBlaster this dog's for sale. Apparently the owner cannot afford to feed him anymore, as there are no more thieves, murderers, or molesters left in the neighbourhood for him to eat. Most of them knew him as 'Holy Sh*t'.
  8. Does anybody have a remedy for removing resin from the plastic on chainsaws. I know that there is a resin remover, I think by Stihl, but you need a second mortgage for a tin. I've tried WD40, white spirit and brake cleaner but nothing works so far.
  9. In the shed I use an alarm mine. This is an old gamekeepers device which connects a trip wire firing a blank 12 bore cartridge. It is a truly brown trousers device and has already saved my dump truck. http://www.solwayfeeders.com/ProductsDetail1.asp?STOCK_CODE=1636 PS Don't even think about using a live 12 bore cartridge - you may forget!
  10. This is what greeted me on Tuesday morning.
  11. Thanks very much for your advice folks, much appreciated. I'll keep the roller guide for the Husky and buy a proper Stihl one.
  12. Seems that there are a few Chinese copies of Husky 395XPs on Fleabay, have a squint at this guide http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/Beware-Of-Fake-HUSQVARNA-395xp-Chainsaws_W0QQugidZ10000000007947301
  13. Bought the old girl in Belgium in 2001 when the Euro was worth 53 pence and saved about £6,000. Things are a bit different now I fear. It still has the same tyres after 57,000 miles and the only major expense has been a new ECU which toasted a couple of months ago.
  14. I own a couple of Stihl saws and have just bought a Husky 365 to join them. I'm not the best at reading instructions but for the first time I notice that angle for the file on the Stihl is 30 degrees whilst that of the Husky it is 25 degrees. For years I have been using the Husky roller guide gauge on the Stihl saws which I presume is set at 25 degrees. The chains seem to cut OK. Can I carry on using the Husky roller guide on the Stihl saws as this is the gauge I feel happier with? You will gather from this that I'm a rank amateur and would appreciate your advice.
