  2. any idea of wages available out there?
  3. I climb using a standard husky lid with out any problems. the adapted rock climbing hats rarely has a visor and ive heard ear muffs can be a problem too.
  4. It has slowed down a bit but there seems to be enough for three teams of three at the moment. The council work is always helpfull when the domestic stuff dries up. you getting much?
  5. Good point and what about the highways agency with the slip lane blocked off?
  6. Hi Buzz I live in Farnborough too! its cool to see the planes but a nightmare traffic wise. who do you work for? Im a cedardale guy.
  7. Where i work we are all qualified climbers so the climbing gets shared about abit,it also means that every one has an arial rescue ticket.I Think it would be differcult to become a good groundie with no climbing experience as they should always be thinking a step a head of the climbers needs so things work more smoothly rather than the guy in the tree having to shout down for everything. Im sure you would all agree that a experienced groundie is worth there weight in gold expecially when your just about to snatch the top out of a big pine.
  8. I see what you mean about the chapter 8! Nice work with the wedges looks like it saves alot of effort breaking off big slabs of pine.
  9. Im off to Munich in Febuary too but have not seen many positions advertised. My other half speeks the lingo and she has found some available but they are only ever on german language web sites.so not that easy to find some times there are some jobs in saltzburg which is about two hours drive from munich.keep an eye on arbjobs, com
