  2. ha ha, me too steve, not looking back either, kept the table top splitter and do firewood for myself and 3 customers only I only do it when quiet, so 1 week so far since January I earn more money, and easier money pulling weeds and cutting grass:thumbup:
  3. Where's the link??? I wanted to have a look!!
  4. Try Costco for your mince, they use the rump and sirloin steaks that don't get sold for all their mince, almost all of their cuts are good quality too. The In house butcher will also cut what you want too if they have it and you are early enough
  5. A bit of an unnecessary generalisation there mike

  10. I saw those, I thought they were ok for kebabs, but I do like to cook bigger meats. can you cook bigger stuff on them??
  11. yeah, that was the promise, but it never happened:sneaky2: all wood that came down the rivers into the bay was used to heat the environment building for the Harbour Authority, which spent as much time running on gas as it did running on wood chip the senedd first ran on pellets, then went over to wood chip from another supplier, without even a mention to the people who were doing the H.A contract ( I have some knowlege on what happened there) but they made access so tight at the senedd only a transit could fit in
  12. just for you lee, a selection of some of my bbqs . top is a real mans 240v rotisserie, can take half a pig next 2 are a 7 skewer carson (epicoa now) rotisserie, not available in UK last 2 are a ceramic komado joe, can cook for 14 hrs at 150c on hlf a bag of charcoal
  13. it is probably the same one, its from the salt lick in driftwood texas, never been, but god help me if I do go!!!
  14. I always get 28 day matured sirloin 25mm or thicker with plenty of marble fat running through marinate in Worcestershire sauce, salt pepper and small amount of chillie peppers for 3 hours in a fridge. take out of fridge and bring to room temp before cooking under a low heat grill (120 C ) for 20-25 mins, turning regularly ( low and slow creates a soft cooked meat) serve with potato wedges, fried onions, mushrooms, onion rings and a pepper sauce ( diane sauce if I can find one too) must have a jack daniels sauce for dipping too Nice bottle of corona or Rose wine to wash it down lets be fair, its never just one bottle of corona I can never seem to cook steak quite right on any of my BBQs though
