Acorn Tree Surgery Ltd requires a Senior Arboricultural Consultant with minimum level 5/6 qualification in arboriculture or closely related subject. Although based in Redditch the employee will be expected to travel throughout the UK and should be available to work away from home occasionally when projects require. Experience in species identification, pathogen identification, mechanical/structural fault identification, report writing and GIS/AutoCAD is essential as the successful candidate will be expected to project manage existing contracts. The successful candidate should also have experience of developing and delivering presentations to groups of clients and stake holders. In addition the candidate will ideally have some Local Authority experience and be proficient in undertaking large scale BS 5837 Trees in Relation to Construction (2005) surveys. A full valid UK driving licence is required as a company vehicle will be made available to the successful applicant. Salary dependant on experience and skills, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, career development programme including CPD seminars. Happens to me all the time, for the good and for the bad, have noticed that certain crews that i work with moan that jobs some are underpriced and other crews thank me for nice days with good money... is it me or could it be the crews not the pricing!!!!!

2 Tonne of chip or log is a conservative estimate based on the legal capacity including 3 men, full climbing kit, lowering kit, full set of cones and signs, full set of saws and fuel. Ladders, petrol pole saw, ect... 2 tonne of chip may seem low but these trucks will carry a full load and a heavy trailer all day long. The load capacity on the back is more like 9 m3 + and are built to tow large trailers Plus you won't be putting a clutch in every 3 months unlike those Jap alternatives. These are the most robust all round trucks we have had. Not to bad on green lanes and grass, again unlike the Jap stuff. Rarely get stuck on most terrain even when fully loaded. We will be investing again the the newer IVECO Eurocargo 7.5 tonne range as they can't be beaten for commercial Arb for reliability and robustness.
