  1. Might be needing a lift doing a job in Stockport area, nothing taxing just dragging and chipping etc. Probably just over half a day £80 pm if your interested cheers mike
  2. As above many help much appreciated as I can't find it online. Cheers mike
  3. Where did you put the pipe? Nearer the top or nearer the bottom if that makes sense. Cheers mike
  4. After having a real job chipping some willow the other day and the discharge spout on my Jo beau getting constantly clogged I was thinking of ways to alleviate the problem, my first solution was a bigger engine so the drum didn't slow down when chipping, but then I seemed to remember a bearcat model with two engines one was a blower, so question is if I fitted a tube pointing up the chute would a blower solve the problem? Opinions please? Cheers mike
  5. If I was building it to unload logs I'd probably put it on the side right between the two axles but I suppose you could put it in the corner and do that, it might end up being changed to that yet! But I wanted to try and keep the full loadspace free
  6. Not sure about the builders bags, it would if the crane was on the bed but where I've mounted it I think it'd catch on the trailer. I'm actually thinking of adding a hydraulic ram like on the engine cranes so I can raise the arm when it's got a load on. Where are you based mate? The guy who I bought this off may get some more he's from dewsbury if that's any help.
  7. Here's some more pics it just needs welding up and painting or might galv it. Would like opinions on the middle leg in the centre of the a frame, not sure it's really needed.
  8. Just trying bigger pics. Also it says on the extended arm max 500kg so that must be at full extension?
  9. Just realised not sure why the pics are so small?!
  10. Yeah it's a penny hydraulics one lifts 500kg max not sure what it is fully extended I'll have a look for you.
  11. I've made a start on this more pics to follow when I get further ahead on it but the following pics show my intention Ill be fitting a removable outrigger just to be on the safe side
  12. Hi guys and gals, I'm looking for work at weekends don't mind travelling within reason from Manchester. I've got cs30,31,38,39 my own saws/gear, PLI, Pts, cscs, small chipper and large ifor trailer if needed. Pm or ring me if you have anything cheers mike 07764581557
  13. Not at all. The point of your post was either to try and verbally attack me over something which has nothing to do with you or to glorify yourself because you've made some donations to the forum. Both of which have nothing to do with the original posts regarding the trading section.
  14. Yeah trouble is there always miles away, considering the size of Manchester it's not the best for trying to get hold of things
  15. Thought my luck was in then but just missed out on one on eBay for £69 oh well back to the engine crane idea!
  16. Me? The only thing I've contributed is to the arb listing and that was for my own benefit. Well done to steve for giving the money to charity, Stephen I'll get you a medal sent off! Like I said in my original post it's down to steve how he runs the site I've no problems with that I was just pointing out the fact no other forum I know charges and that it's because of the forum users the site is still here, (and steve obviously, before someone says something). I don't know why people feel the need to get on their high horse because someone expresses their opinion!
  17. Without turning this into another post I don't think it was a good move with the classifieds the main problem for me is it won't work on the tapatalk app so I have to go onto the site etc. Which isn't great on iphone. Why isn't there a members only part for selling or a minimum post count to sell. The way I see it without the regulars here the forum wouldn't be here so it gives them something back. Then again it's steves forum so it's up to him how it works
  18. It was item number 220834917834 it didn't sell might be worth an email
  19. There was one on eBay a week or two back for 3k
  20. Yep that'd be a great tool not sure what 4x4's have a noseweight capable of 400kg though. Might have to have a trip up there and see how it's mounted, cheers mike
