  1. Yes i am VAT registered.

I am suffering from practicality vs looking good vs just getting from A to B

Many a MG owner would argue that its not a rover its a MG, but i dont really care. To me it does look very much like a rover 75.

It handles brilliantly, goes stops and turns so well.

Yes its rwd and if you turn of the traction control you can have a blast! if u have a min youtube clarkson driving it on topgear.

    cheers

Yeah seen that top gear. It's like the monaro, proper engine an rwd, love it.

  2. Bit if a word of warning some Velcro straps have a ring that you double back on means you get them really tight, but the ones I've got at the moment don't they dong get as tight. If I was buying some I'd be sure to get the ring ones

  3. actually i think not, i can see a few wires about! handy setup.

It'll lift 500 kg it's got a little 12v winch on it that lowers the hook, but you cant alter the arm while it's got a load on........yet!

  4. Loving that mate, nice set up, I well want a defender but I do some serious miles a week so I can't til I'm more local all the time!!

I used to do 100 mile a day in it, used to have to fill up every day, used to get loads of morrisons points though!

  5. That remind me saw a red 90 in suffolk 2 years ago with a chip box on the back and thought what's the point???? Tool box then a chipper on the back, then tow a trailer any body got 1 or thinking the same and got any pictures.

There's was one at the apf the other year. Chipper and small chip box on back of a 90

  6. Thing is you either get a tow along and a tipper or something like my set up. As I didn't want the costs etc of another vehicle I did it this way. Plus you can carry more legally than a transit. Not sure I'd have this set up if I worked for myself fulltime as it can be a pain having 4" plus pieces that can't be chipped.

  7. The Jo beau is about 120-150kg think it'll do about 3". I've got a little crane on the trailer now to lift it on and off. Yeah just use some ply sheets, wouldn't mind the mesh but it's not cheap.

Here's a pic of my old trailer it was 12' but got the 14' now and leave a space at the front of the trailer for the chipper.
