  1. I completely agree. I use a hakki pilke OH60 (TCT) works fine up to 10" anything larger gets spilt into lengths on Posch vertical splitter and then through processor. Works a treat. Personally I would avoid chainsaw processors.
  2. Having recently helped on topping a large Leylandii hedge my recommedation would be don't do it, solely because its horrible work!!
  3. It also affects your home insurance. If you claim too much it becomes classed as business premises and you're into a different world of insurance.
  4. Completely agree with all the comments. Great for firewood and charcoal.
  5. The Subaru pickups were great. Just look at how many farmers used them. If you don't need to tow much, but need to get off road they're great and can get through a lot as they are so light.
  6. Believe its due for release in the UK in the autumn. At present only LHD.
  7. How about the Iveco Daily 4x4 http://www.daily4x4.iveco.com Give it 10 years and I'll be able to afford one.
  8. Chatting to a haulier last week and he also said that there is a general feeling that diesel will certainly top £1.50 by the end of the year. LPG is looking more and more appealing.
  9. Cheers for the links - I'll make some enquiries. I would go for a hiab on a truck but need to get into woodlands and 4x4 tippers are like hens teeth.
  10. I've seen on the web a tipping trailer (IW style and about 10'X5') with a crane and grab and was wondering if anyone knows where you can buy them as I can't seem to find them again!?
