  1. Orange Plant (a successful Forestry Machinery Specialist Supplier) has a Sales position available at it's Newcastle upon Tyne branch. The candidate must have a proven track record in sales, however an applicant with experience in the Arb Industry would also be considered. You will be working from the company's Newcastle branch which has a small busy sales office. Your duties will include both calling business contacts from an established database and generating new clients and have responsibility for handling some of the company's hire enquiries. You will also be responsible for the distribution of the company's stock between it's three main depots. An atractive salary plus a commission is payable on sales and hire revenue (1% of revenue generated). Please e-mail your CV to the company's Operations Director; Simon Miles at [email protected] with a covering letter. Tel: 0845 838 6337(local rates)
  2. Steve, This is a problem for us all. I suggest you look at money claim on line, do a serach for it on the internet. It is the website of her majestys court service, you can submit a claim on line, enter judgement etc. Make sure you go through all 8 stages of the process and also make sure that you fill in the claimants details correctly, that is you, and the defendants details, your bad payer. Don,t get these mixed up or you will end up suing yourself. You have to pay by credit card and this can be added to the original claim value. If the customer still does not pay up you can enter judgment against them which puts them on a bad debtors list. If this fails you can also arrange on line to have the bailiffs sent round which is the process called a 'warrant of execution'. I'm not doing a law degree for nothing as I have been 'bitten' too many times in the past. If you want to chat about this ring me on my direct line 0191 2361023 Regards, David O
  3. All depends what use you are putting the mog and chipper to and what diametre you want to chip. If it is all forestry or estate work then size is not really an issue but if you are doing urban arb work then you may find it difficult to park the whole rig in the street. I have seen a lot of chipper/mog combinations that look very unwieldy when in an urban setting. We have a nice clean TP150 at our Cannock depot. Speak to Jonathan Tonks on 01543 509205 or visit our web http://www.orangeplant.co.uk
  4. I suggest you leave it the original colour or you will de value it when you come to sell it. Out of many the chippers Orange Plant has sold customers are usually put off by machines that are not original as they look bodged, even if they are not
  5. Give Orange Plant a ring on 0845 838 6337 and speak to Lorne Brown or look at their website http://www.orangeplant.co.uk
  6. Delighted to sponsor the site and hope to contribute it to it with views on related topics. I am sure it will prove to be a very worthwhile source of info, chat and general banter for the industry. Best Wishes David Orange
