  1. 2 ends of your rope is fine untill the loop comes off the ground which is illegal and highly dangerous, i climb with a rope and long soft strop with half of it daisy chained so it can be used as a small secondary anchor if need be, also just take a redirect with you and you cant go wrong

  2. I was down in london for the charity shield at wembley recently, had a few hours round the paddington pubs and bars beforehand and couldn't help but have a gander at the plain avenues...looked fantastic...I have a bad habit of scoping out anchor points etc whenever I start looking at trees...lol

:001_tongue: i always look where i would reduce it to or how id take it down in my head:001_tongue:

there is 2 90ft planes out the back or peterbough that are un touched, simply magnificiant!

its a tight nike running top, since the dreaded cut i have worn it because of minimal rubbing and stops the crap getting in the stitches!!!!!!!!!!

  4. So, will you keep using the chainsaw one-handed after your accident? Just curious...

this time i didnt use it 1 handed!!!! the saw wasnt running and the chain break was on!!! the piece was only small as well. when i put the cut in i could snap it with 1 hand and swing it around with its own motion to where i wanted it to land, it just got caught on something:thumbdown:

  5. biggest dead elm ive ever seen/done,

all the brash was to be stripped out and the long wood was being kept for furniture building

  6. but not in the usual way!!!

i was sectioning down a leylandii, i put my snap cut in, chain break went on and turned the saw off!!! the piece was only small so i held the saw in one hand and grabbed the broom handled size bit but it got caught up and pushed towards me and shoved my arm across the top of the bar!!!:scared1:

if the chain break wasnt on then i might of got a smaller cut!!!!
