  1. Grais The Throwpod is not just a chunk of heavy rubber! Sorry - wanted the product to speak for itself and not have to continually defend it - but we need to clarify that there is more to it than meets the eye (excuse the pun)! Tony and Di (Sawpod Ltd)
  2. Sorry David...couldn't get there Friday because of training commitments. Come and catch us at one of the climbing comps or shows throughout the year. Lots of the shops now have stock so go get yourself a look at one!
  3. A good few people got to try the Throwpod this weekend at a very quiet Capel Manor - and here they are on the shelves at Honey's -
  4. The sun shone at Capel Manor, not many people, but we were kept busy demonstrating the Throwpod!!]
  5. Just to clear things up, there will be a throw-line demo at the Southern Student 3ATC at Sparsholt on the 30th April/1st May and Stein have very kindly allowed Sawpod to demonstrate the new Throwpod. Stein are sponsoring the whole event and it would be good to see a good crowd there to support the competitors!
  6. Adam - there will be plenty! Just a bit of a slow start in production - we've been overwhelmed by the positive response to the launch and look forward to showing the Throwpod off at various shows and climbing comps throughout the year. We start at Capel Manor 19th-20th April, Southern Student 3ATC Sparsholt college 30th April, German ISA climbing comp 9th-12th May, Northern Student comp 14th May Myerscough college, UK ISA climbing comp Highclere castle 25th-26th May and the Welsh Woodfest 31st May - 1st-2nd June. The APF 13th-15th June and to finish off FR Jones show 26/27/28 July!!!

  19. Arran - And that's how it all started! With insulation tape, actually! Good to hear all your opinions - but you know what they say about opinions? Seriously, we love all the feedback, keeps us on our toes. Tony
  20. Hi guys, Sorry to hear you are having probs with the velcro curling on the Sawpod, I haven't had the same problem, (though I don't use it every day, as mostly I'm training) However, I always wrap mine around itself (with the saw still in) at the end of the day to keep the velcro clean. If you need new straps to keep the "Spod" (like that one!) going, send us a fiver and we'll send you out a new set. Find our email/address by following the link here on our banner ad ----> In the meantime we will have a word with the factory and see if we can't sort the curling out! As to:"I would rather lose a bollock than be without my Sawpod" (Don't think it would get past the editors...like it, but............... Any more issues just let us know, if we don't know the problems we can't fix them! Tony
  21. Looks a bit like the new fleece from Sawpod! Ours is a bit cheaper though...only around the £40 mark....check out Winchester Garden Machinery, A&F, Orchard Hill and Treeworker to find out more!
