  2. Never in a million years, my old lorry could carry three times the amount a transit can, if I did tree work again i'd be getting a 7.5 ton truck or sit my hgv for an even bigger truck, no doubt about it..

  5. I agree with Ben 3.5 ton trucks are a waste of time imo, the only truck i'd buy other than a 7.5 tonner is an 18tonner with hiab

Cheers mate good read, by the way my accountant picked mine [shes called the wife lol] I'm not expecting it to be as good off road as a Landrover imo the best off road commercial vehicle available in this country.. I think Chris the build quality is pretty much as good as it gets, in the Jap pick-up market, Toyotas are just as poor imo

  15. I just beat a salesman down to £12,500+vat [free metalic silver paint] most want close to 14K I told him how much I wanted to pay and wasn't going a penny over...

I only want it to put a bit of mulch in the back and to put my spray rig on, and to tow a trailer and compressor off road, anyone here got a Ranger other than Mike? Please don't say anyththing too negative as i've already ordered one... Jeez I feel like such a judas not buying a jap truck, suppose they are more Mazda than ford which makes me feel a bit better........   19. Best to always check if shes a Ting Tong or a Tong Ting first though, could be embarrasing down the pub, could even get you barred!

  22. What does ''hole treatment'' mean thats what I want to know? To tell the truth I won't take a blind bit of notice of any new regs/changes and unless its a td [highly unlikely i'll ever be involved in one of those again] I won't even bother filling in the planning forms, crown thins etc etc i'll just go ahead and do my own thing, I kid you not!
