  1. You would cut out the centre of the hinge of a hung up tree? From the opposite side of the sink/gob, yes?
  2. I wouldn't want to wear anything on my leg, apart from my spare handgun.
  3. They were all using it at the carving at Westonbirt.
  4. Was that our Kiwi friend? If it was he hedge trimmed a Purple Leaf plum.
  5. Looks like a bell. Thats not a criticism.
  6. Shame, I am going on a surfing/stag weekend that weekend.
  7. I was using two trimmers today, both Stihl long reach, both having running problems, in-fact, I had to give up with the first one, I am glad they are not mine, fickle things them.
  8. Thanks for the info PUWER.
  9. If you have a new one, especially the long reach version, make sure it has the heavy fuel filter in the tank otherwise you may experience running problems.
  10. left school, crap jobs, travel, crap jobs, travel, more travel, doss around, no direction, no clue, Arboriculture, climbing, sounds OK, year of training for work, 10 quid a week on top of your dole, with a excellent hippie/trainer/old school, general great bloke, Year of college, qualified, out in the big world, still doing it although I told myself that I would stop at thirty.Ha, ha.
  11. If you have one of these saws bought from around 2004 onwards have you had running problems? Check your carb model, if it is a D type carb, (First line on the carb should be something like F61.D) If it has this carb see if your dealer can replace it, I have been informed that the D type carbs are dodgy, possibly due to the brass fuel jet now replaced with stainless steel on the newer model carb.
  12. I wonder if I could touch my head on her... nevermind.
  13. Have had Cobra fail on a large Horse Chesnut that was braced.
  14. Maybe, but it sounds a little energetic for me.

  16. Yeah I have tried it, after my back injury I went to a nice gentle yoga class to get my suppleness back, it was very good but then the yoga class changed and so did the teacher, she was unbelievably pretty and could touch her forehead on her shins, my missis encouraged be not to go after that.
  17. So smooth, love it!
  18. Teach them a running bowline and other basic knots please.
  19. I think this Beech may have outgrown it's situation, it will be coming down in the future. I gave it a haircut today. Fiddly work.
  20. Welcome nailer!
  21. Bad day?
  22. Here is one, My old Boss Jim, Beech take down.
  23. The Greenmech that I used was a hire machine, we took it back because despite it's 9 inch feed you had to fight every branch into it, the noise it made was incredible, not the engine, which was faultless but the disc, maybe it was out of balance, it made the very air oscillate. When my mate took it back early the maintenance guy said it worked fine for them as they test it out with pallet wood. I forgot to mention Vermeer.
  24. You got a new camera man?
