    i just find it wraps around branches and locks off on itself easier than a thicker strop. it is nice having the smaller line though. im not so keen on the cinch either.

    yes...dont like it much though, nor the cinch that goes with it. i'll be going back to an 11mm once i get a new cam for my positioner

    will try get a pic tomorrow. it is a little bulky, but any all in one unit is going to be. at least you dont have to have a cable running down to a seperate recording unit

    yep, but only one way, straight across the road. but then i wouldnt have been able to play with my new camera!!! i prefer working trees how i worked this one anyway to be fair.....50ft tree down and chipped up before i got down....groundie only had to pick up his saw twice....just a little raking for me to do when i hit the ground:001_smile: all done in the space of an hour

    ive been using a 10mm lanyard for a few months now with a cinch, and i dont really like it. i find it wraps itself around limbs and bites onto itself easier than a 11mm upwards lanyard does. thats my only real gripe. for those who like to use a long lanyard(i dont) i guess the annoyance of this would be offset by the space saved using the smaller diameter line

    i think it'll change....i dont see how it cant.....things arent sustainable as they are. i do think things will get a whole lot worse before they get better though

    everything was chucked over the fence. walnuts are a bit fiddly to climb, and VERY slippy when wet...it was pee'ing down that day

    not long enough to warrant the expense to carve it IMO, wouldnt want to put a time on it....and it would probably depend on if it was treated....and its highly unlikely they will be re-treating it regularly either?
