Everyone seems massively busy at the moment, which isn't helping me much as everyones too busy to think about their websites, haven't had any new enquiries for a little while now.

We do. It’s the shipping charges that have gone through the roof and I don’t think it’s because of brexit

It is just a other expense, but EL is quite a big one of you literally only use someone a couple of times a year. @Paul Tomo I think the only way to get round not having EL on those rare jobs would be for your subby to invoice the client directly in addition to supplying their own tools, even then I’m not 100% sure if that’s a foolproof loophole

Yep this. we used to hire traffic lights ourselves years ago, this was when things were a bit more lax. It was always a hassle. Best way by far is just getting a TM company in. that being said, a lot of them can be a pain in the backside also so it’s worth doing your research in the companies in your area.

In our case it’s not strictly a foreign holiday. My girlfriends from Italy and we are very keen for them to see their 13 month old grand daughter who they have so far only spent 1 week with. aside from that I agree in general with forgoing foreign holidays. 1 year or 2 won’t kill most people

We were thinking of going to Cornwall in June before the schools break. Even then I reckon it might be swamped so having second thoughts. I’d be quite happy to stay home but the missus is bored stupid and just wants to get away. Italy was on the cards for June but that’s looking increasingly unlikely
