I'm there, suprise suprise

Shhhhh, don't tell everyone, or there won't be enough plonk to go round.

Oliver Rackham - quality. Do me a favour and ask him if he fancies coming to Bolton. I can arrange warm Vimto and Carrs pasties!

I saw a one day lecture advertised a year or two back where he took a handful of people out for a talk around a wood. I wanted to go but the c£400 fee put me off. Enjoy.

I had my doors opened by Rackham about twelve years ago, up at Flatford Mill on a weeks residential trapesing around the woods of Suffolk & Essex.

Staverton, Hatfield etc.....

They're pricy for sure, but if time & finance allows, I cannot recomend those courses highly enough.

Particularly the Flatford ones.

Shame on the pair of you, Harding & Croft.

Tobias makes the trek all the way from Sweden, and ya can't bother to turn in a couple of miles, tut, tut. :001_rolleyes:

What will our euro arb buddies think of us brits :sneaky2::biggrin:

I enjoyed old Ollies talk, some fine history on the medieval woodland structure in and around London.

Must of been close on two hundred people attended.

& then down the boozer for a couple of jars listening to a folk band & having a good natter with Tobias.

Hopefully our tall swedish friend will be impressed by the Hampstead management Blueprint tomorrow & then idle away a few hours in Tonys company on staurday at the Whip.

I've warned him all about you Hama :001_tt2:

Glad you enjoyed it...I dont feel quite so jealous now, knowing a couple of you's within spitting distance from the talk, didn't make it!

Not something I would have missed, especially with working in and around the area that formed the focus of the subject ....Bad luck guys!
