tripod ladder

hi all,

I'm going to buy a tripod ladder, However, not sure what height one to get as various heights and makes on the market we do some quite high hedges but do not want to get the wrong one ie to high/not high enough. so answers please on what yo get on best with and what make.

better off buying one thats suitable for most of your hedge work, rather than just a couple of your highest hedges...

I think mine are twelve foot, I can extend them by strapping a light ally ladder to them if I need a couple of extra feet...

 

Mine are the Japanese version, forget the make.. lighter than a bag of sugar...

I've got the work ware ones with adjustable legs, don't know how I managed without it!!!

 

Got mine from Northern Arb Supplies

 

Light strong & just fit in the back of my vehicle, their the backbone of my kit.

I get asked just about every time i'm on with a domestic job over mine from comments along the lines of "they look jazzy" to "how adaptable are they"?

But the highest adjustables @ 3.6M (12ft) are invaluable to me & they are definitely the ones i would get for un-level ground!
