Has anyone had issues with the buckles wearing and failing Loler inspections on these? We've just had one at 2 years old - the harness is otherwise immaculate but the waist buckle and one of the leg loop buckles pop open if twisted. The yellow plastic clips appear to have worn very quickly...

I've seen this partially happen on a couple that I've inspected, it seems to be inherent in the design. Not come fully open but half out it that makes sense. I don't think that they are a great design to be honest although the chances of someone twisting them out is very slim. That kind of movement/action would be extremely unlikely to happen whilst you are in the harness. If the yellow press release catches are genuinely worn down then that is a different matter.

Exactly as you describe. I'll try and post a vid.

I agree - unlikely to fail in the real world. It has failed the LOLER inspection though, and another of a similar age is showing similar wear (but isn't popping open yet).
