Makita top handle

I Have done a few hours with one of these. They are ok, but really not amazing. I have also used the 3400 which is next size up which is better. But the echo 360tes is a good deal better saw and probably similar price. I would look at that.

 

How cheap can you get the makita?

Ty for your input. I will check the 36 echo at a local dealer this week. Still, this makita is too cheap :001_huh:

we've had 2 off these makitas and got on pretty good with them ours lasted about 4 years and got used a lot never had an engine failure one got broken up for spares to keep the other going and eventually it died as well but I would go with the echo there stuff is far better quality

How'd you like them? Few years ago you didn't seem keen, but flyer more time any different?

 

I got a dcs3400 or 3410 which goes well for carving, but the top handle ones I hand only ever came out for climbing when my ms200 wasnt playing ball. Certainly ok, but not much zing.
