Anyone on here with a tractor and large winch for hire with operater in the Gloucestershire aera ?

Will need for a couple of days to pull some massive beaches over .

Another approach to consider - we use a decent sized digger (13 or so tonnes minimum, 20 is great for really heavy trees) to pull bigger trees. Put a line on up high (ride the digger bucket up if its kosher in your location) and position the digger so that you can take up a enough pressure with a direct pull using the main hydraulics to start the tree. The fall is controlled by slewing the machines house with the boom and stick well extended, you have enough line speed to get the tree practically on the ground using this method. Once you have the hang of it you'll never go back to a winch and a good operator will leave less ground damage than a tractor.
