As above. When it's been stood for a week or so on starting at low revs it hunts and surges, and is a bit smokey. This goes away once it warms up. Only got 30-40 hours under it's belt.

Any ideas?

Was going to ask the Greenmech guys about it at the APF.

Cheers.

Could be air entering the fuel system. I would do a filter change, clean any gauze strainers and check the tank pickup if possible. Run a spanner over all pipe connections in case one is loose.

Had a similar problem on a customers lorry once. Turned out to be a

cracked olive.

Sorry thought it was diesel. Disregard

I'm sure mine's done this too.

Only thing I've noticed is that the choke mechanism gets a bit detached and is free to move in and out too freely. Pretty sure I've had to re-attach is a couple of times now.

Vibration could move it in or out...

Anyone had trouble with the cut-out switch under the drive belt cover?
