Bugger! What about the other link?

 

I appreciate the link but i foresee two issues:

 

1) their size guide suggests that 3xl is equivalent to 52-54" which would be quite tight on him and that would restrict movement/be uncomfortable

 

2) He wants his trousers/chaps from a reputable brand considering it is meant to save his leg from getting cut off :001_tt2:

If they conform to the right standard then I can't see it matters who makes them.

 

I agree in some respects, but the rating is just one factor when purchasing this type of thing. Others include: the quality of the fabrics/stitching, if they give a warranty against defects, if they have been designed for comfortable all-day usage, etc etc.
