that big bit of beech was a pita, i kept getting the blade stuck between the 2 nugs, and i was scared i would catch a hose, when i turned around and got onto the smoother side is shoved it easily. i reaaly want to get a set of rear arms and rams for it.

I'll bet they wouldn't be that bad to get made up stevie if you cant find them, the sparex catalogue is all you need, just buy the eyes and get them made up to fit your machine. There's a company my dad uses who can make up rams to your spec too.

i just remembered the guy i bought it off said he had a set of iseki arms, if i could get someone to work out sizes for rams and then the levers set up it would be great for a little transport box, but i reckon if i could get a tow hitch or pin then one of those little timber crane boggy set ups would make it a cracking combo for extraction

you could weld a tow hitch onto the skidder no prob, thats all i did on my winch so i can pull the chipper and stuff. Its also handy for doubling up the winch.

You're right it would be great with a little trailer, theres an estate round here with that setup apparently.

my winch is a skidder winch, so its hollow in the back of the tractor, know where to weld anything onto, so i would need to lift the winch off and fit the arms and rams on, then i would replace that winch with a 3 point linkage one so it has a plate for pulling over.
