A GX390 to power several things?

I am looking for eventually three things that can run off said engine

compressor

pressure washer

generator

 

all would be used only occaisionally, perhaps the pressure washer the most

 

would it be really difficult to get the alternator, pressure wash pump and compressor gear, so each could be interchanged. - haveing a shelf of bits and one frame mounted engine to replace these 3 below?

looking at the compressor it is maybe too fiddly to have all three off one engine- but if Stihl etc can get a strimmer, hedgecutter and pole pruner out of one engine why not? (wouldn't mind upto an hour to change bits over)

 

maybe it's as silly as asking 'can i have one engine to share between a panel van and a tipper?'

oh i see - it's not a new idea at all! thanks for reply - it's almost there, except I think they need a beefier GX390 one (and they haven't sorted a compressor add on yet)

Metal/ rubber drive dog on each piece of equipment, a few mounting brackets and away you go.

If you keep a standard slide on the engine and mount everything to that then build the mounts for the different units from that it should be quite easy.

just realized if I get a generator I can just buy a ready made electric compressor, probably cheaper than building something to bolt on a petrol engine

or buy a couple of chinese gx390s and save the hassle
