Can anyone give me any clue whats affecting my apple and pear trees? And if so is there anything I can do? Most of foliage is affected and trees are starting to shed leaves.

Thx Craig

Clear away all the fallen leaves in the Autumn. Try and get hold of some copper based fungicide. Bordeaux mixture can sometimes be found in garden sheds.

Spray in the spring as leaves break and spray every ten days or so until the blossom drops. It's worse in wet springs and it's a waste of time spraying after early spring.

Thx for the advice Graham, think my wife sprayed them last week with Bordeaux mixture! Has that been banned too?

Appreciate your advice mate.

Same here last few years. Pretty sure you can't get Bordeaux mixture now so if you've got some eke it out! Spraying after the blossom won't be effective. Start as soon as buds break until the blossom fall.
