Half off a copper beech?

Hi all, got to look at a job reducing a medium copper beech but the customer wants it done ASAP and half off. Tree in good condition previously reduced heavily with some hefty diameter branches removed. 6-8" almost low pollarded? My cuts will be upto 3 inches.

Unfortunately no pictures, but am I OK doing this now and by this much? Don't want the cash going to someone else who doesn't care!

Tree approx 2ft diameter at the Base and around 35-40ft tall. Crown spread say 8m
