Here is the dolmar version MH-246.4DS this is there shortest version at 1.78m

4-stroke engine quiet and smooth engine only 6kg

 

 

Or you could try Garden Kit and look at the Tanaka they do a short shaft version

I stopped buying their junk over ten years ago, because it's all crap.:thumbdown:

 

I won't, all their other stuff I've seen is plastic crap but was thinking about the hedgecutter attachment to fit my combi just for cutting scrub close to rough/wire/glass ridden ground, for the price of it it's disposable. Cheers

Sorry to hijack, has anyone got any experience with Echo hedge trimmers?

 

 

I've just got one of their normal ones and it seems ok. I can see why the similar Stihl one is £60 more though, I think it's that much better built.
