Hi

I hear on here quite a lot that the echo range of hedge trimmers are probably the best out there? Which of theirs would be the equivalent to the Stihl HS 82 R, and why would you say it's better?

I'd say HCR-165ES (if blade length is fine for you). It has triple sharped, double sided, double action cutters that give very fine cut quality plus a very handy rotatable handle. There are obviously more features. Give it a look at dealers store :)

I could be wrong but I don't believe there is another cutter on the market comparable to the 82r, it's a brutish trimmer and I believe all others are finer cut trimmers

Don't overlook the new Dolmar/makita offering either. Think thats where my moneys going to go

Do you know the numbers of the ones similar to the Stihl? It's the rough cut I'd like.
