Hi there, I was wondering whether people think it would be worth converting my little Husky 445e from .325 15" oregon pro am micro lite bar and chain to 3/8 lo-pro 15" sugi bar and chain, and if so where could I get the appropriate sprocket, bar and chain?

I am not aware of a genuine 3/8 Husqvarna sprocket to fit it, so would have to be some after market one, if you can find one, remember the back of the sprocket needs to drive the oil pump, you would also have to change the guide bar, i can see no advantage in doing this, .325 works well on this saw saw, the cost is going to out way any advantage.

Finding a 3/8" lo-pro sprocket that fits the saw may well be a show-stopper, and there likely isn't much gain (if any) over using .325NK (narrow kerf/pixel) anyway, as long as you stay with semi chisel.

The trouble with .325NK is that there isn't a chisel option available.
