looking around for a sprinter seem to be hard to find.has any one got one or used one in the tree game.just wondered if they stand up to the job.most i have seen are single axle just worried that its going to be on its ar@e with a load of chip in.

the merc sprinter when I was at Greenwich council, was a good little truck apart from being ordered/fitted with the wrong clutch. the combo of arb waste and chipper meant it went through clutches like no ones business.

I have one and its great! 311 CDI, factory restricted to 62mph so I know it hasn't been thrashed down the motor-way at over a ton. Pulls fine with a load of chip and chipper. The place where i got mine from have converted another two.
