just wondering why they are grey,mine has packed in and needs replaced and wondered why they are grey and not blue like most on a new bought saw(its not new anymore),incidentally how much is a new one does anyone roughly know ?

I think the blue one are limited coils to stop it accidentally over revving should it run lean for any reason . Black ones are mostly un limited . Dont know about grey ones .

The grey unit is only for the auto tune saw, the blue unit is the later governed unit, the black unit is the un goverened early unit, you can use either black or blue on a standard saw, but grey must be used on an auto tune saw.
