Here's my first attempt only saw I have is a husky 560xpg this was with a 20" bar and dull chain.

 

Lots to learn.

 

That's a good attempt, I use a flappy disc sander on the grinder or sabur burr disc to add the finish. Go for it you'll be amazed at what you can achieve. I know my limits and realise that we have awesome carvers out there, all I can do is try to improve my own style.So dig in, practice and keep going. Well done:thumbup:

Yes nice attempt there. My advice for carving mushrooms is start them upside down. Carve the stem then flip them over and round off the tops.
