as for sharpening my manual to my alpha delta/ clone to rock machinery recommends green girt wheel and a aluminium oxide wheel in a bench grind and a little blurb on what to do these machine can take the quadar blade found on the small vermmer and praxis machines as my manual shows a pick of them in it

Think the manual is the same as mine as has that. Thought about getting a bench grinder but haven't got anywhere with power to put one so would have to do it in the garden but don't want those particles around where the kids play

Dan, I know there are lots of variables but roughly how many hours of grinding do you reckon you get out of your blades before changing them. I bought the rock grinder recently and have touched up the teeth after almost every stump with a diamond disk grinder. I reckon I've had about 6 hours out of them and am finding it hard to get a edge on them now. Time to chuck them and put a new set on or maybe get them properly bench grinded to milk more use out of them?

Cheers

I think I get a more than that, but don't sharpen them after every stump, just when feel dull or can see them rounding off. I'll be needing my fourth set in two years very soon to give an indication of how often I'm going through sets

Just got a set of these. Only took two weeks, two phone calls that weren't returned and a stroppy email asking for a refund for them to put the teeth in the post 😡

In the end I bought a set of Quadrablades for my Praxis grinder from 'Simply Spares and Consumables' on Ebay. £129 delivered, so quite pricey i guess.
