Can someone explain Dutchmans a little more to me please?? Ive never heard of it i dont think, Looks like you just put a normal gob in and hit it with a few wedges?? :confused1::confused1::blushing::blushing:

basically you cut through the front of the hinge on the side thats leaning from the front so when the timber compresses on the way over instead of swinging on the hinge it compresses and pushes away...is the theory... can cause fibre pull and barbers chairing though!
