Such a rare timber in this day and age! Beautiful plants and wonderful piece of wood for burning or carving I wish I could see and work on more leylandii's!

Oh the beauty of those trunks.

The worrying thing is that these people genuinely believe that they are being generous.

The even more worrying thing is that there may actually be some nutter out there to take then up on these ridiculous offers.

Let's hope not ahy

Free Tree removal. No formal request for knowledge of how to remove said trees, no mention of insurance requirements as well for any party concerned. What could possibly go wrong?.

If it were not for the leylandii hedge many a tree surgeon would be broke, yes they are worth a fortune!!

very true but these people don't understand the money is in the removal not the wood, I sent the second advertiser a message explaining that no professional tree surgeon will remove them for free, if he's lucky some cowboy might do it but given the confined space and built up area don't be surprised if it goes horribly wrong, no point in asking for their public liability insurance and his home insurance will laugh at him when he askes them to fit the repair bill. I kept it polite and professional, he didn't get back to me.
