VTA Field guide worth it if getting the encyclopedia?

I am going to get the The Body Language of Trees (Encyclopedia of Visual Tree Assessment) - Claus Mattheck. Just wondering if it is worth it to get the Updated Field Guide for Visual Tree Assessment - Claus Mattheck. Is the field guide somewhat trumped, rendered redundant, by the encyclopedia?

I would say the encyclopedia is all you need, unless you feel the need to carry a Mattheck book in your pocket.

Cheers and thank you Gary. Unfortunately I am never really your way but if I get do come that way I shall say hello. :-) For now I think I will just purchase the encyclopedia as that will keep me busy for a while.
