I too think it's the PTO wire that hangs out the back. They get knocked around come loose and give problems. Seen it happen on a 8000 series i assume its the same on the 6000.

It's usually just under the flap where you put cables through in to the cab but some one might of added some thing one later. You don't have that switch there normally

Matty, the yellow thing your refering to is where you put rope or cable through without opening back window. ring malcom 07850856007 he will tell straight away he imported that tractor from new

Make sure the PTO auto switch is not pressed in, that upsets things. My terrier likes to knock it when doing the wall of death around the cab.

Where's this mate? Can't find it in the manual ?

It started working again when we came back to it the next day

This must be them ! Must admit I don't usually touch any thing unless I know what it does , I see wilsons did or do a forestry spec valtra with no electrics... Manual pto and gears which sounds good.
